Policy

Privacy policy.

How the cooperative collects, uses, and protects information about its members and site visitors. Effective 2026 — updated quarterly.

What this covers

This policy covers mozicooperative.xyz, the gated /portal surfaces, and any forms operated by Mozi Cooperative that collect contact information. Member data held under the cooperative handbook is governed additionally by the bylaws; this policy is the public-facing summary.

Analytics

mozicooperative.xyz uses Plausible Analytics — a cookie-free, EU-hosted analytics service. Plausible records page visits, referring sites, country (no IP storage), and device class. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not share data with third parties. Aggregate dashboards are available on request to press@mozicooperative.xyz.

Forms and inquiries

Form submissions (LP qualification, partnership inquiries, press inquiries, membership applications) are stored in the cooperative’s database under fiduciary obligation. The data is used only to respond to the inquiry and to maintain the cooperative’s records of who has reached out. It is never sold, never shared with third parties for advertising, and never used for any purpose other than the original inquiry without explicit re-consent.

Member data

Members of the Mozi Cooperative have rights documented in the cooperative handbook. Membership records, governance history, audit logs, and revenue distribution data are held by the cooperative under fiduciary obligation. Members can inspect their own data at any time via the member portal; written requests for full data export are answered within fifteen business days per Article 6 of the handbook.

Portal authentication

The cooperative uses Privy authentication for the member portal. Portal identity proves who is signing in; cooperative authority still comes from the member ledger. Email addresses are stored only for authentication and member communications.

Third-party services

The cooperative uses the following third-party services:

  • Vercel — hosting and edge CDN. Vercel’s privacy policy applies to traffic logs.
  • Resend — transactional email, application receipts, and member notices. Email content is transmitted to Resend for delivery.
  • Plausible — cookie-free analytics, as described above.

Updates

This policy is updated quarterly. Substantive changes are announced in the cooperative journal at /journal with a notice period before the change takes effect. The current version is dated above; the change history is available on request.
